Waitlist privacy notice
What the website and the waitlist collect, and what we do with it.
Last updated 26 October 2026
Draft for legal review. This text isn't final.
The short version
We keep your email, your answers to the form, and where your visit came from, so we can invite you and see which places send people. We count visits without cookies. We never sell your data, and you can leave the list from any email we send.
1What this notice covers
This notice covers the quibbit website and its waitlist. It says what we collect, why, and how to ask us about it. It doesn't cover accounts or the desktop app.
2What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your email, the computer you use, your team size, and what you'd test first, if you tell us.
Where your visit came from: the site that linked you here, or the campaign named in the link, and the first page you opened. The form sends these with your email. If you join twice, we keep the first ones.
When you joined and confirmed, and when we emailed you.
3How we use it
To confirm your email, invite you when your spot opens, remind you once if your invite is about to run out, and decide who to invite next and what to build. We don't sell your data, run ads, or use it to train models.
4If you get an invite
If you create an account from your invite, the account keeps your entry's first source and first page, so we can see which places send people who use quibbit. If you also turn on usage reporting in the app, your first run is counted against that source. That count never includes your email.
5Cookies and analytics
The website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We count visits with PostHog in its cookieless mode. PostHog tells unique visitors apart with a hash it computes on its servers from your IP address and browser details, using a value that changes every day, so it can't recognize you from one day to the next.
We see page views, the referring site, the campaign in the link, the first page, your country, and your device type. When you confirm your email, our server tells PostHog where your visit came from. It never sends your email.
6Who we share it with
The services that run the waitlist for us: Vercel hosts the website, Convex stores the waitlist, Resend sends the emails, and PostHog counts visits.
7How long we keep it
We delete entries that aren't confirmed after 30 days. A confirmed entry stays until you leave the list.
8Your choices
Every email we send has a link to leave the list, which deletes your entry. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, write to [privacy contact email].
9Children
The waitlist is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect children's data.
10United States only
quibbit is offered in the United States, and we store waitlist data there.
11Changes to this notice
When we change this notice, we post the new version here with a new date.
12Who we are
