Legal
Terms of Service
One agreement for the desktop app, your account, and the paid plans.
Last updated 12 October 2026
Draft for legal review. This text isn't final.
The short version
quibbit is a desktop app plus an account. These terms give you a license to run the app and cover the plans we charge for. You bring your own model key, so your model provider bills you for tokens, not us. Test only sites you own or have permission to test. Findings come from AI agents and a best-effort referee, so check them before you act on them. Our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. quibbit is offered to customers in the United States who are 18 or older.
1What these terms cover
These terms are one agreement between you and [legal entity name] for the desktop app, your quibbit account, and any plan you pay for. The Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are part of them.
2Your account
You need an account to use quibbit. This section covers who can open one, keeping your sign-in to yourself, and your responsibility for what the members of your workspace do.
3The desktop app license
You get a license to install and run quibbit on your machines for your own QA. This section also lists what you can't do with it, such as reselling the app or building a competing product from it.
4Your model key and your model bill
You connect your own model key, gateway, or coding agent over MCP. Your model provider bills you directly under its own terms, and quibbit never marks up or resells tokens. The estimate a run shows before it starts is an estimate.
5Plans, billing, and refunds
How Free, Solo, Team, and Enterprise are billed, how hosted browser minutes are charged at $0.01 a browser-minute up to the spending cap you set, how seats change, and when a refund applies.
6What you may test
You may test only sites you own or have written permission to test, including permission from the hosting provider. Agents can submit forms, create accounts, and place orders, so you set up the environments and test data they use. If a site owner asks us to stop, authorization ends.
7Pen tests
A pen test runs only on a domain you have verified, after an Admin or a member they allow approves it, and after you accept separate pen-test terms for that domain. This section describes the limits a pen test keeps, such as rate limits and production being off by default.
8Your data and your findings
Your evidence is yours. We store finding titles, run metadata, and membership, plus what you choose to sync or share. Screenshots can show other people's personal data, and we never sell it.
9Findings are best-effort
AI agents can miss things and can report things that aren't there. The referee re-runs each finding in three fresh browsers, but it can't guarantee a finding is right. You review findings before you act on them, and we make no claim that your site is bug-free, secure, or compliant.
10Disclaimers and limits on liability
quibbit is provided as is. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last 12 months, with a small floor on free plans. We aren't liable for indirect loss, and loss from agent actions within the scope you set up is your responsibility.
11Your responsibility for unauthorized testing
If you test a site you weren't allowed to test, you cover the claims that come from it. This responsibility isn't capped.
12Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy. This section says what happens to your data afterward.
13Disputes
How a dispute between us gets resolved, where, and which state's law applies.
14Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new date. For a material change, we email account owners first.
